Any opinions on the Vortex TR5?

Hi there,

i have the chance to get a Vortex TR5 LuxV light for small money (about 85$, including charger and 2 battery packs).

Unfortunately i can't find any reviews for this particular flashlight. The TR3 and the smaller ones, yes. But not the TR5.

Can anyone comment on quality, output compared to a LuxIII, regulation, runtime etc?

too dang big. LEDMUSEUM has a review of the TR3.

I take it that you've seen this thread regarding the TR3?

Don't know about the TR5—although overall they seem to like the TR3 better!

CHC: Yes, i know the review. And i know the TR3 review on Ledmuseum, too. But neither of them tested the TR5. That's why i asked.
