T1 mod, is it possible?

Hello everyone,

I have an Inova T1 that is just laying around and was wondering if anyone has modded one of these? I have tried to find any mod but have not been successful. So have any of you? I have tried to remove the head but it is pressed on to tight (wondering if the freezer trick would work?). Any ideas or comments would be appreciated.

Back when these first came out, I recall several people attempted to mod them (some tried the freezer trick but it crushed the electronics instead of popping the bezel) to no avail. One CPFer hacksawed his XO just to check out the TIROS optic. I haven't heard of any Inova TIROS lights that have been succesfully modded
