In my search to find a cheap Lux1 dive light i stumbled into this http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/xtremelite_dlx-014aa.htm
have any of the divers here tried this one yet ?

I know it is rated for only 30m but i once had a cheap dive light rated for 30m and i took it down to 50m with no problems so i was hoping this one would perform in the same manner, also considering the reed switch which reduces the water entry point to only the bezel maybe a slightly thicker o-ring might keep the water out at greater depths.

My only concern would be light penetration since it uses a side emitter.

Anyway i went ahead and ordered one from here :

so i guess my questions will be answered soon but it would be nice to know what to expect before it arrives.

Has anyone tried one during a night dive ?

It's a rebranded Nuwai flashlight. It's a great value for the price, but if I was a diver, I wouldn't take this light when I should dive at night and I should take only 1 light with me. I'm not a diver and I haven't dived yet, but I should think twice if my life could depend on it. In my opinion it's worth to buy a real diving light that's almost 100% reliable.
