Hi all

I have the following Arc AAA LS mod.

Due to jtice's superior boring and polishing ability :p, the luxeons are positioned right at the focal point, and the result is a smooth hotspot with a wide sidespill. I really recommend ticey for your boring needs :D

Also, I sealed the perimeter of the luxes dome to ensure water tightness.
Again, this is no diving light, but it should be able to withstand a nightly shower :green:

woops.
Edit: First post here get it

Is it black or natural?
How about the lug body, does it match the heads?
Which would be brighter/whiter on a Li primary?

Led, both heads are black. The color of the body will match the head, but not the knurling. This is bec the head is an arc head and the body is a peak (the one I have anyway). I believe it should match with an arc body.

never tried on li primary, so i cannot give any comment.

Paul, i have the Q4H reserved for you

Shiftd,

I received the Q4H light today. I like it. The finish is a lot better than your pictures indicated. And the Peak body is a very nice match. You're right about the reflecting surface that jtice did -- it's a beaut'. I think this is going to be my favorite EDC for quite a while to come.

Thanks,

Paul

P.S. 10,000 K color temperature? Q4H? It looks a lot closer to snow white!

it was a bit purplish compared to the QYOH, while the QYOH more to the bluish side. Compared to my RXOH, it definitely looked more purple.
I guess each person's color recognition is different :D

anyway, glad you like the mod.

I believe they are just polished to mirror surface. the holes were bored so the luxeon are right at the focal point of the reflectors
