There's a mess of lights I've never heard of at Heinnie.com. The linked one seems kind of intriguing, but I don't know enough to know if it's for real or just a silly idea. It's a UK site even though there's no country code in the url that I can see.

Sounds like an electric toothbrush thats been super modified! Induction charging has been around for quite a while. I don't think that this would be an EDC light....probably doesn't have much in the way of charge current.

By reading the specs for this light it actually sounds like a rather mundane rechargeable LED torch. Nothing special in the design apart form not having to plug in or mount on the charging base. You simply lay it on the charger and 12 hours later it should be 100% to capacity! However, did you note ni-cad batteries are used? Not exactly cutting edge is it?
