Since becoming a flashaholic, I've been constantly trying to decide what lights are good for what and which areas need a light to fill the void. All the text and words have become so confusing that I've decided to put it into a visual :-

I know I could use a headlamp, but I don't really like 'em (yet at least). But will probably get one just to fill the space on the head. Haha...

This is probably for a long hike or search mission.
I think this setup could be a little 'overkill', but hey, we're all flashaholics. :D

Just sharing the little graphic I did...

What lights would you carry? :)

Nice graphic.

For search and rescue, and going for overkill, I'd say:

- 2 Vector 1M candlepower rechargable spotlights, for major throw
- Inova T4, for 2 hours of intermediate distance throw
- U2 for general utility, short to midrange flood, with extra batts
- Eternalight, for emergency backup, signaling, desperate times
- 3 Arc v4 with e2 lithiums, and extra batts, just because
- a couple of Photons, wearing them and using strobe to mark me

:goodjob: Terrific Graphic!

The hair looks a little like my youngest when he gets out of the rack in the morning.

I wa actually thinking that if you turned all of those babies on at the same time you might look a little like Robert Redford in The Electric Horseman. Now that was a boy with some lights. :naughty:

Here's an example of the same image compressed to reasonable size.

Sorry, been on broadband so long that I forgot to consider the file size for possible 56kers. But don't you think quoting me with my pic in it and then attaching another pic is gonna make this thread even heavier? :D

I never thought to put so much thought into what I carried where.

The question is... If that was a live person would they be able to stand w/ all the extra weight?

hehehehe

Ah well, that is a live person... me :p

Yes most all those lights had batteries in them,
It got quite heavy, and by the time I was done I was sweating like crazy.

I cant seem to find it,
but Luke, or Logic, took it and labeled all the lights once.
