Surefire U2 - Dual Tail Switch

Hello,

I am curious if anyone has tried or heard of someone trying to put a dual tail switch on a U2? On 'low' mode my U2 is still REALLY bright... enough to make it very hard on the eyes when waking up in the morning...

Would it be possible to add a dual-tail switch to the U2 to cut down its output? Thanks!

I imagine the regulation curcuit makes it harder - you can't just stick a resistor into the battery loop. It's a nice idea though. I have an L1, and I'm having to break myself of the "press harder to make it brighter" habit.

Speaking of U2 mods, is there any way to remove the pocket clip? I find it quite obtrusive and makes the light uncomfortable to hold in my fist unless it is rotated just right.
