Hi guys,

I'm wondering is it better to have a slightly warmer or cooler bluish white luxeon led? I'm wondering since I understand there are lottery luxeon, which one would be better?

I got two fenix  , but which one would be better?

:)

Thanks!

Re: led question

I like the slightly cooler ones for that slightly bluish HID look to them. It generates more of a 'wow' from the uninitiated when they see it compared to a regular incandescent.

Yeah, I think it depends on what you want to do with the light... For outdoor use, I like the warmer tints. The W0 is often quoted as the best 'white' tint, but outdoors I like slightly yellower tints.

For example, this time of year, there are likely many leaves on green grass... The cooler tints make everything look bluish while the warmer tints clearly shot the difference between the brown or red leaves and the green grass.

But it's all just opinion.
