Battery tube for 2xC to 3x123A Mag mod?

I just completed a couple of 2C Mag mods last weekend, but I had to use some rolled-up cardboard to adapt the battery holders to hold three 123A cells instead of 2 C cells. There must be a neater way to do this, isn't there?

Schedule 40 PVC pipe works real good as a battery spacer, any home store or plumbing supply should have what you need. Just take a C cell and CR123 with you to test fit I found some that was a odd size one time :rant:
