After trying oversize models designed for 2-inch (51mm) bezels, I had just about given up locating a traffic wand (cone) designed for my 42mm, 43mm, and 45mm miniturbo heads. Well, this time I tried a different approach: Cut four slits into Streamlight's TL-3/Stinger traffic wand and use the wand's rubber band to hold it in place. It fits great on the Wolf Eyes 42mm bezel and OK on the 43mm bezel from G&P/LEDWave/Camillus/Digilight USA.

Here's how it looks on a G&P 43mm bezel, unlit:

and lit:

It's actually much brighter than the "lit" image makes it appear; I had to lower the brightness to keep it from washing out.

For those who want decent runtime in a traffic cone that stands out by daylight, use the TL-3/Stinger wand (orange by day, yellow by night) with one of the following setups:
  • 220 lumens, 50 minutes: G&P 4X + two Surefire A19 extenders + three AW protected 17670, Wolf Eyes 168B, or Pila 168S cells
  • 250 lumens, 55-60 minutes: Wolf Eyes 9D/DX (42mm bezel) with RICO Alpha 9 lamp (1 hour on two 150A or 18500 cells)
  • 350+ lumens, 45 minutes: FiveMega 2x168A Stinger Mod + Carley CA1499 bulb + two AW protected 18650, Wolf Eyes / Pila 168A cells.
  • 450+ lumens, 60 minutes: FiveMega 3x168A Stinger Mod + Carley axial bulb + three AW protected 18650, Wolf Eyes / Pila 168A cells.
For a slimmer profile, use a 12V G&P or Diglight USA lamp assembly in a tactical head (1.25-inch) light with Surefire's orange wand for the P/C series.

For an even brighter light saber, if you don't mind a thicker body and bezel, use a Mag C or D superbulb'd mod with Mag's C/D orange or yellow wand. Runtime will depend on the mod.
