Soft diffused light for zero dollars

This is the camping/reading lantern you already own, just didn't know it. My wife and I are big on recycling, and I'm always wondering what I can make from nearly everything that ends up in the recycle bin. (Saline solution bottle)

All those great containers, without a life after being emptied.

My all time favorite is the 35mm film container (the black one with the grey top).
Hmmm...what can I make with this? How long will these be available with digital cameras taking over?
