Inova T-1 Question

I have an X-1 and the beam is an absolute spot, no sidespill at all. Is this also true of the T-1, or is there some usefull spill?

I had one and sold it. It has a spot with some rings around it (though when using it to look at anything the rings are not noticeable).

No sidespill...
