In the spirit of the Thanksgiving season, what are you thankful for?

For me, it's -

Every sunrise.

A roof over my head and a warm, dry bed.

My spouse, family and friends.

The feel of summer grass between my toes.

Freedom (of many kinds).

My profession.

Good medical care.

'Dis place and everyone in it.

Animals and birds - the world would be a much colder place without them!

...and whomever invented coffee!

Next?

My wife and children.

A job that is challenging, and that I enjoy doing.

Chronic low-grade low back pain. It's a constant reminder that I'm a frail, mortal human being, and it prevents me from taking all the other blessings for granted.

I'm thankful for everything. The air we breathe, the sun that gives us life, the moon that holds us steady.. too many things to list. I'm thankful for all things good and bad, large and small. It's all right to me. I like the way Pink Floyd puts it in the song Eclipse:

All that you touch
All that you see
All that you taste
All you feel.
All that you love
All that you hate
All you distrust
All you save.
All that you give
All that you deal
All that you buy,
Beg, borrow or steal.
All you create
All you destroy
All that you do
All that you say.
All that you eat
And everyone you meet
All that you slight
And everyone you fight.
All that is now
All that is gone
All that's to come
And everything under the sun is in tune
But the sun is eclipsed by the moon.

There is no dark side of the moon really. matter of fact it's all dark.

Good thread! There is so much to be thankful for.

Jesus
Family
Friends
Health
Home
A good meal
Our Founding Fathers
Everyone who has sacrificed to keep us free
The Constitution and Bill of Rights

There is much, much more of course. I am glad we have this Thanksgiving holiday to help remind us of everything to be thankful for. I do not give thanks enough through the year.

Oh, God... ;)
the list is looooong, but I tend to think of my family, our health and unity, food on our table and a place to call home... the rest are just added blessings.
