I work on a transfer ambulance and was thinking it would be nice to have some sort of lamp I could "stick" on the inside of the ambulance to fill out forms when the interior lights are off. Perhaps something like those push-on lamps they used to advertise on TV at night.

Is there any kind of dim red LED light with a diffuser? I considered a Photon microlight with some sort of homebrew diffuser and a piece of double sided tape but couldn't come up with anything.

Ideas?

Thanks.

how about something like this from pocketlights.com? this one you can clip to something.

http://www.pocketlights.com/clipmate.asp

there's a couple other lights in that site that you can clip to your shirt's pocket or a pen like light with a long flexable head.

this one has a magnet on the end. called a TracLite
Keychain LED Task Light at modernoutpost.com
