I went to the Fenix web site and much to my delight what did I see!?
http://www.fenixlight.com/flashlight/fenixl2.htm A 2xAA version at almost the same price. Lets see how soon we can get these out to the masses. Like the other single then double cell light varients, I'm expecting to get possibly a slightly brighter (100-200 lux) output and longer runtime (25%-50%). Mainly due to the increased efficiency of the circuit but also from not taxing the batteries as much. I sent an e-mail for more info. I'll post here when I find out more.
