Yes, quite a few.. if you talk LED, 3 watt Nuwai's are significantly brighter, http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/nuwai_alx-352_alx-032.htm and it also accepts rechargeable Pila cells. :naughty:
Not to mention, it's cheaper.

Pilas work in the T4
Just dont try to charge them in it.
Though I think it would be fine, I dont have proof.
I have the T4 and love it,
look at my sig line, I reviewed it.
