Anybody try nimh rechargables batteries in the ledbeam?

if it´s a direct driven LED than check current.
Also if there is a resistor it´s recommend to do this from time to time.
in such Torchs (especially with the Lumileds) this can happen.

I built a PVC adapter to allow for AA NiMHs to be used, but I haven't done a timed runtime test yet.
