Doing my CPF duty - Spreading the message!

I'm a long time member of the computer & gadget website www.anandtech.com, so I decided to start a thread about my flashlight collection:

Some of the people there didn't even know you could mod a maglite! I'm planting the seed of light over there! Muhahahaha!

I too had no idea about "mods". I thought I was a lone wolf in the wilderness making LED flashlights prior to Y2K. I've got dozens of flashlights. My friends laugh at me when I show them my newest flashlight. I thought that the SureFire L2 was state of the art when I got it this summer. Then I found this site!

Found a link to this on Frugal Squirrels and Ar15.com and decided to take a look.

At first I was almost scared away. Mods? Potted bulbs? Flashlights exploding?

But now, after learning much in the last couple of weeks, I'm excited to start tweaking lights.

My mom's gonna kick my *** for spending more money on flashlights.
