Beads? Battery case? Inquiring [significant other]?

Ah, ha! I've got it! You could pawn it off as a rattle!

I can see it now, "You see, Honey, it's just a rattle... You put these little beads in here [insert beads in battery case] and just shake it."

"See, it's just a little rattle"

LOL, quick, tell Edwood!

Hmm, without knowing the diameter I would only guess beads to adorn the knob.
Beads hell, it deserves a diamond imo.. :twothumbs

Oh boy, I bet Dad and Don will be at diamondexchange.com in a little while.. lol

I better go admire the pics thread.

Congrats, white light, that is what they are for. I did not put them on the lanyard for two reasons. They could scratch the light and they are hard to put on the lanyard. So I know most of you will not use them.

If you do want to try them, take the lanyard off. Then using dental floss, string the bead on the lanyard loop and slide it all the way up till it hits the plastic. Then using the floss again, string the lanyard back into the light. The bead will always be there when you want to pop the battery cap pin. Just place the bead right on top of the release pin and push.

Cheers

Mine arrived today and I totally love it! Someone here said they couldn't stop looking at their SPY 007... Well I just want to hold and play with mine... It feels great in my hand and is light perfection in every possible way. Dave, a million thanks for building the SPY 007!!!

Chelly

P.S. In the absence of a proper case for my light, "she" is currently wearing a pink iPod sock. Very cute!

Pink, I'll stay away from dat one.. ')

Received my shipping notice so with a little luck I may relish in pride of ownership as well.

If I'm not mistaken I think I saw a pic of Don's in his fav studio, bottom of the ocean, so until I make an appropriate lanyard it should be ok that I have to wear on a Ti necklace and that means a shower at least every sat night..

Many thanks Dave for all.

Hopefully I have the authorization to enter this holy ground. I cannot help myself, but I need now simply the feeling to belong to. My Spy007 is on the way, and I feel like a well-known Smirgol in "the Lord of the rings":

I tried a glow ring on the knob but it was a little to slippery for me, and I liked the orignal better for gription factor.

I supply vitron o-rings because they are not as sticky as Bruna-N. The knob uses size 011 o-rings. You can get Bruna-N o-rings at most large hardware stores and home stores.
