Can't wait to see this puppy.

(another almost-guaranteed purchase)

Really like the clean lines. Prefer clicky usually, but if the motion is smooth, twisty's not bad. Love my Preon but find myself NEVER using it, it's stainless and just too slippery to twist without work sometimes.

Thanks awoodby ;)

The selector-ring is very very smooth and different to a regular twisty as their is no increase/reduction in friction (and nothing to fall off either). Planning to tweak the grooves just a little to further improve grip but I find it quite easy to operate one-handed.

Guy-san,

Any info on the Torpedo's clip?

Domo Arrigato,
Katzu

Hi dmkatz,

Not yet, I have a few designs and waiting for a confirmation on timing/cost/possibility.
Confirmed: Removable, Reversible
....ideally a black/dark color.

Should have an update on the clip by next week.

thanks,
tgwnn

I'm excited for the Torpedo, thank you! PLEASE consider a REAL proper pocket clip, not one of those flimsy clip-on clips... The best ones are the ones integrated to the body, like the L2FXT and more recently the excellent and affordable Lumapower Incendio. The Incendio proves a proper, strong clip can be had on an affordable light... Simple & sturdy, not cheap & flimsy.

Also, even more important to me would be the option for a neutral emitter, T5 or so... Thank you!!

Some of us are not into clips... TGWNN is trying to take that into consideration.

+1 for neutral, but high CRI neutral is even better for me! (just got some quarks high CRI and I'm definitely loving it!)

The Thrunite Scorpion features a very useful clip attachment system, maybe you can copy (or even improve) that, although it would probably be very hard to implement in such a small light.
