I just received my light. I could say a lot of things but to sum it up. The photos don't do it justice and the craftsmanship is 100% stone cold spot on. I can't find a flaw. Impressive work. Thank you.

Thanks guys!
I'm working on the Regulus run now, so after that I will be doing some Brass and hopefully more Copper if there is enough time left in August.

An update on 371D builds, for the foreseeable future I will not be doing anymore as I feel the hassle of stocking and building them isn't worth the trouble for me at the present time. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

An update on the current status, I have reluctantly decided to not produce anymore Titanium lights for the Sirius or Regulus for the time being as I am having considerable difficulty with drilling the stuff and will not be able to complete any in a satisfactory amount of time or of sufficient quality. This may change in the future but at the current time I will focus on the getting the Al-Bronze portion of the Regulus run along with the extra brass Regulus lights I have cut and will be adding some Mn-Bronze to the run which is harder and much stronger than the Al-Bronze and has similar patina characteristics.

Any photos of the MnBr ?
+1. ;) Would like to see MnBr!

@Thetasigma -- Sir, shall we have the chance to change to MnBr for those who are in the list? Would the 2nd batch of Regulus run catch up this August?

/sleepless nights :poof:

For the first run of the Regulus I already have the 15 Al-Bronze hosts cut and ready for finishing operations (tail, grip, tapping). I plan to have 5-6 Mn-Bronze hosts ready with this run and may add it in place of the Titanium option for future runs, or may replace Al-Bronze with Mn-Bronze depending on how it is received.
Al-Bronze vs Mn-Bronze
85 ksi 110 ksi Tensile Strength
32 ksi 65 ksi Yield Strength
170 typ. 225 typ. Brinell Hardness (7075 Aluminum is about 150, and grade 5 titanium is usually around 320).
85 35 W/m-K (thermal conductivity, 6Al-4V Ti is about 8, 7075 Aluminum about 130)

Cut appearance is quite similar as is forced blue, though natural patina remains to be seen.

For us on the Regulus list with Ti as our material option will our lights be delayed or canceled all together?

I'm pretty sure we will be able to switch over to another material bronze or brass
they look so cool I would take either or

You may either cancel the reservation or those who selected Titanium get first dibs on the Mn-Bronze and Brass that will be made available with the first run. You may also switch to Al-Bronze but that would delay the reservation as I have already finished with the Al-Bronze for the first run.
Material selection for the future runs is uncertain at the moment and will depend partly on how Mn-Bronze is received and ages.

Is there any way I could stay on the list to see what upcoming materials may be offered or should I just cancel and then watch for later posts.

Received mine today - only day in the office in a month. Looks great - it will be on it's way up to Quebec this week, Georgia next week. The workmanship is certainly as good as anything else I have. I couldn't see where the two parts mated until I knew where it was.

Agreed. If Devin can make this a consistent offering I can see a large demand for it.
