Nitecore offers an waterproof IP68 2m submersible Powerbank NPB2:I have been wanting to get something water resistant/proof and tougher so I don't have to ziplock them when hiking.
I don't have a 45 watt power supply, but suppose I could get one, but what can take a 65 watt supply from it? What is the max input to a iPhone?+
hey Poppy (or anyone else)
this unit does 45W input / 65W output (Type C)
with all the coupons is only $30
Have one in use right now
I hope yours proves more durable than mine. I had a situation where I had to charge-discharge it daily for months on end then used it as a static charger for months. Went to use it as a powerbank one day and the internal cells obligingly crumpled immediately.I've been using Anker for my stuff. PowerCore Fusion 5000.
I had mine since 2018 ....Knocking on wood.... Hate that something like that happened.I hope yours proves more durable than mine. I think that the max to iPhones, and iPads is 5v 2.1 amps or 10.5 watts.
I imagine that they would have to change the batteries to accept a higher charging rate.+
That's all changing Poppy w/ Type C becoming the charging input for Apple also
Things are going higher voltage.
Meaning, something that took two hours to charge, could easily be 40 minutes soon.
