I would use JB Weld and just seal it with it. Once the hole for the gland is in, you can use that to run the wire in and out, do your soldering and then use the gland as your cap. I tried to use the C mag but ended up doing that as I too could not find o ring
Head O-rings are the same as D. The tail is the issue as I have not find the proper o-ring for it. Recommend JB welding the tail shut as you don't need it top thread off.
Haven't been here in while been busy with other hobbies.....
O-rings are #124 (1.237"x.103") or 31.42mmx2.62mm have to put metric in there for pack! lol This is for tail
1.890"x.079" or 48mmx2mm for head. Need 2
I do like to thread the top of the Maglite barrel prior to gluing but not mandatory.
Hey guys
I am working on a project for a friend of mine's kid who has been in the hospital for over 6 weeks now. He has been diagnosed with lymphoma after 3 weeks of being in a hospital and being transferred to another one in Dallas where they had the resources and ability to diagnosed and treat...
I'll have to post pics of my PPS-43 and Uzi builds. PPS is almost done. Going to do some puke green moly resin coat on it. Uzi will be black. I already have the wood stock of the Uzi finished up. Barry, I need to replace the sights on my 1911. What do I need to do that? Which sight tool do you...
The problem is finding the O-rings that will seal tight. There are so many sizes out there that it can be a challenge. Can be done but may be a pain to get it to work. Then there is the lens, the light may not have a thick enough one.
A buck driver like a Taskled H6CC or H6Flex can take up to around 25 volts and step down to the LED usable voltage so the battery pack can still be used. If more than about 4 LEDs are being used in series a boost driver like the HBFlex can also be used.
