Just came back from a trip, and found my V5 XPL waiting for me. WOW - I am having so much fun playing around with the programming...
This is the best light I have ever had, and it even managed to overthrow my Lupine Betty TL2 from the first place on that list!
What you guys put together is simply AM-AZ-ING!!! I cannot wait to have my Black XPL in my hands...
WELL worth the wait, and thanks (and kudos) for the awesome customer service - as a manufacturer and on-line retailer of high-ticket, niche products I know very well the amount of work this...
I am sorry, the excitement must have made me go nuts, as I do not see it: http://www.oveready.com/moddoolar/moddoolar-pocket-natural/prod_276.html ...?
[EDIT: Sorry, just realised the info is on the dedicated pages for the heads and the tails. Duh...]
Yikes, I just went through the Overdeay site to get to this thread (sometimes I find that quicker to get straight here), and I could not believe my eyes when I saw that a Natural HA Wasp was available! So I just picked this up (I hope it was a stroke of luck due to someone changing their mind...

Hello everyone.
The other day I was lucky enough to chance upon an available Moddoolar Oblivion light on Oveready, which I purchased and received today. It is an awesome little light, especially with the smooth Oblivion head.
Speaking of the head, I was told that this is a v4 HML XPG2 4000k...
Indeed, you are right on both counts. It is just that holding a light which is at 55 degrees or so is not really comfortable with your bare hands... When I cook steak "sous-vide", I put it in a 51.5 degrees water bath!!!!
A little of both. But when you hold it in your hands, the heat sinking is completely uncovered. However, you are right in thinking that holding it could possibly slightly worsen the situation, because the body of the battery also gets VERY hot (hence it is also acting as a heat sink). If you...
OK, so I received my Lupine Betty TL2 light yesterday, but I admit that I have had very little time to play around with it. So here are just a few very first impressions...
It is incredibly small, and light. Really. And it is amazingly well built and finished. The whole thing just oozes...
