    ZebraLight Cust Serv/Quality

Thanks WalkIntoTheLight and McBob. I'd thought I'd get a new flashlight since I had extra time, and forgot the world isn't normal now. I guess I'll just wait.

    ZebraLight Cust Serv/Quality

(I was looking for an easy way to contact ZL and found this old thread.) Is Zebralight still in operation during these challenging times? I placed an order last week, and emailed them, but have not received any responses or order status updates. Has anybody else had any transactions with them...

    Scam? 300-hours @ 300lm.. on 1 D-cell. (Triatholight)

I just ran into this KS last night. It was an amusing read through the comments. The best and worst thing about people is that they can be very support, even blindly so. There's no way that this project would get unfunded by enough people dropping their pledge. The project description is...

    Who likes the new FourSevens?

Very strange indeed. This means with this pen, you'd NEED to remember to take off the pen cap before lending it. If not, there's a chance the borrower will lose the cap for you since it doesn't fit on the other end and they'll most likely leave it on a table or somewhere... After all, most...

New Light from Ian Sinclair-Battery-Less Credit Card Shaped flashlight

I had to dig a bit to get more info on this light. It seems to be the old version. Here's the non-shortened URL: http://us2.campaign-archive1.com/?u=578686af2cdfbb9be216c0427&id=41d6cb9298 An old thread on it from 2009...

    Jetbeam RRT-0 XM-L (550lm)

I had my HDS U60 modded for an X-ML and it's definitely not that floody. The HDS head size is around the same as the RRT-0. Sure, it's not as focused as before with a small hotspot but it still has a hotspot and spill. I find it even more useable now since the hotspot is bigger (2x) and the...

What is more useful 10/120 or 30/120 lumens ?

Years ago, 30 lumens was around the max that led flashlights put out and that was considered bright. It's still bright now. I'd go with 10/120. Though ideally, I'd like 0.5/10/60/120.

What light would you purchase if they would only change (blank)?

Surefire Titan - If it was available, affordable pricing (doesn't need to be titanium) and can use RCR2. Also pop in a newer led. :)

    HDS Systems EDC # 15

I just had my HDS EDC U60 upgraded by datiLed to an X-ML led. Now I can hold off the urge for a purchase for a while. This has been the third led upgrade on this light.

How important to you is Anti-Roll in a flashlight?

Removable clip would be great option without having to change the body to make it anti-roll.

Do you like infinite variable output or preset modes?

I've tried IV on my LiteFlux. I found it hard to use since it ramps up or down, and you have to interrupt it at the right point. I'm sure IV with rings is much easier. However, I like the presets on my HDS. As others have said, presets are great for getting a good idea of estimated runtime...

    LED Doorhandle

Very cool. I do see some potential issues with it though. Nothing that can't be fixed. 1. The handle connection to the flashlight seems short/weak. If someone turns it too hard I could imagine it breaking off. 2. After the flashlight portion is taken off, it could be hard to turn the...

    HDS Systems EDC # 15

That's what I remember. (Back in the day, 2005) I remember reading threads where the HDS EDC 60 would output ~60 lumens. There are at least 3 lights tested in an integrated sphere and the lumens were very consistent. That's how they were named; for their lumen output. It would a sure fire...

    HDS Systems EDC # 15

It's interesting that Light-Reviews.com has measured the 200 Rotatary at 233 lumens. I wonder how they measure it. I always thought HDS was carefully calibrated for lumen ouput.

What is your most anticipated light?

I'd love to see another Surefire Titan (cr2 version) with newer LED and more affordable pricing.
