Re: Object/Subject Review: Sunwayman C20C [In Progress]
I have just noticed Sunwayman released a new version of the C20C, putting 650 lumens in turbo mode (instead of 450), and 450 lumens in high mode (instead of 250). Seems to be a nice torch now !
I modded 2 maglite bulb with an XM-L and custom heatsink recently, I get about 450 lumens with 2AA.
I bought this one on purpose for the maglite design in my -small- collection.
I don't want to go very far with it, I just thought an XM-L would be more appropriate, but the LED module is difficult...
Hi,
I have just bought a mini mag pro+ that I like a lot, but this light has a lot of throw, maybe too much.
I figured a XM-L would be very nice to replace the XP-G
I removed the LED module using this link...
Re: Object/Subject Review: Sunwayman C20C [In Progress]
Another test on this forum mentions 620 lumens in turbo (http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?342135-Sunwayman-C20C-%28XM-L-1x18650-2xCR123A%29-Review-RUNTIMES-VIDEO-BEAMSHOTS-and-more!), and 450 in high
Does everybody have...
I like this light, I would like to buy it but I don't want to be disappointed by the high mode, which is only 53 lumens, while a i3 gets 70 lumens and 3 modes
Is it possible to open up the light and then maybe mod it ?
I dont know about the other lights, but the MSA10 (1xAA) specs are not right. On the website it says 160 lumens on nimh, and not compatible with li-ion.
They are interesting, but they keep the same body for every type of battery, as a result we get a 1xAA light almost as big as a 18650 light (24mm diameter). More and more brands do that now, I guess to reduce the cost, but I don't like that.
I am looking for an "infinitely variable" light using 18650, so I am getting interested in this light.
Is there a way to open the light and access the reflector, and even better the driver ?
Or is everything glued together ?
I wonder if it is possible to mod a bit this light for more output...
Hi,
Sorry for reopening this thread. I can open a new one if needed.
The thing is I need to know the voltage of li-ion so I can prepare my li-ion level monitor.
I have a redilast 18650, cutoff voltage at 2.5v. I currently get 3.60v, and I still can use the turbo mode on my TK21. It is not as...
I really am excited about this light, I love my TK21, but.. but.. where is the XM-L U3 ? where is the voltage monitor that almost every new light gets now ?
What about the 7xx lumens !?
