    im not an expert on this or something, but surely when you stop limiting the light to being for just one type of receptor in the eye, you will be able to see better? then again, that would mean that colours like yellow, cyan and purple are colours that we can see the best with... like having 2...

    me and my friends, we see the light as in the visible form of electromagnetic energy, rather than the object i am holding in my hand... i think people recognize that its me when they see the whole place around me light up because its just so bright... its been useful for stuff like outdoor...

    this is in switzerland... it doesnt happen to be very warm there in the first place to have to deal with waste heat from the lights, does it? the heat generated by the lights contribute to the overall heating of the house, with led's you have to turn up the heater in winter

    ive posted the same question and have gotten a couple of good suggestions... http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=184970 but i think that the lights they mentioned in my thread arent as drastically focusing as what you require, they only go from a tight beam to a broad beam...

    R17670 (2x123 size) Question

    yeah, shame really, i've just read some reviews where a single cell powers it in high mode for just over 14 minutes while 7.4v makes it run for almost an hour... i suppose that a high voltage --> buck regulation is more efficient than a low voltage working at high amp draws?? but is the tradeoff...

    ive had a bad experience buying rcr123's for my T1 ... i've bought these http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.8683 and they are too long to fit into my t1, trying to screw them tight enough i think i crushed the pcb of one of the cells cuz the light cut out when i twist it all the way in to...

    how many brightness modes does it have? how many strobe patterns? imho , with abit more programming it could come in handy as a text --> morse code converter... good for people who dont know morse code who are stuck in a situation where they need to use it... now thats something a flashlight...

    i have an idea... suppose that i have a fenix T1 (and i do :sssh:) , it has a low battery warning system... if i were to use an unprotected 3.7v 17670 and rely on the light's low battery warning to know when to stop using the light, will that work? i suppose it depends on what fenix has set...
