    Light Pollution Getting Worse

    A building closed to where i live installed a LED display matrix, it literally light up half of the night sky and it is not comfortable to look at. I hope the light intensity is going to down a bit as it age.

    LED Spotlights ?

    I've actually seem something of similar design, but maybe 2/3 of your size in a flee market in Toronto. The flood light wasn't on, but i was playing with a flashlight with similar chip, it was producing warm white. The light quality wasn't great, but the flashlight itself was almost 2 feet long...

    Factors that affect a LED light's lifetime

    I think aluminum heat sinks are the most common way to remove heat from LED light bulbs. and if memory serves my right, philips has also developed some type of ceramic heat sink that is more efficient than the aluminum ones
