    I have a Deeree with an aspherical lens which should work for your situation. For longer range I have a custom Maglight which lights things up to 1 kilometre. Both of these are dedicated throwers and hunting lights.

    I am already into firearms, trucks, power tools and knives, whats one more addiction... er hobby. That being said I have about a dozen lights now and haven't bought anything for a few months. I am finding the production stuff pretty ho-hum and know when funds permit I will seriously be looking...

    What did you use your flashlight for today?

    Used my L10R to light up under the kitchen sink to pull everything out and sort it. Didn't find any gators under there;)

    I have been looking as well but haven't found a good price in Canada, the dealers here are still selling at MSRP and the US dealers can't ship here. Probably a good thing for my credit card ;)

    rechargeables on 1xcr123 lights?

    I am running AW IMR 550mah 16340's in a V10R and a L10R with good brightness and run times.
