The Inova XO3 or the T3 are good choices. Both are solidly built and has quite a throw. Also, in my experience Inova has pretty good customer support.

The FB1/KL1 was my first serious light. Excellent throw. I carried this for many months and was very reliable. I dropped the light many times but it keeps on ticking!

The price difference between the Real P1 and the clone P1 is not enough for me to justify buying the clone. Now, if the clone was priced at $10, i'll buy one even just to try it out.
Well, i think the P1 would be more convenient if it is used as a keychain light. You wouldnt have to open your briefcase and fumble around and put it back in your bag once you are done using it.
