    Should I get a D10? or no?

+1 for D-10 from 4sevens. Excellent performance and form factor. Also the PD makes it a "unique" light as well as fun to play with. droopy

    Nitecore D-10 Comments & Questions

Good to know. I hadn't seen anything about the whine developing later. And if I keep my thumb over the piston it covers up the noise. The whine is definately not a problem. I can not say enough about how great this light is.

    Nitecore D-10 Comments & Questions

Okay, have had my D-10GD+ for almost a week. First let me say this is a great light! I got lots of warnings about the UI not being good for an EMT/EMS setting and just being hard to use. I disagree completely. For me at least it has become intuitive to use and I love the one handed operation. I...

    Another Recomendation Thread

Thanks to all for the help and suggestions. Nitecore D-10 on the way. I'll figure out batteries down the road. Probably eneloops or AW protected 14500's with 139 charger. droopy

Did some more research and I am kind of torn between the NDI (looks) and the D-10 (UI). Guess eventually I'll get both. I think I am going to start with the D-10 due to the UI, and the available pocket clip. droopy

Just a bit more $ than I wanted. Is it much better than the D-10?

After watching video and reading reviews, UI seems pretty straight foward to navigate. Any particular 14500s and charger combo?

~$60.00 for light and ~ $40.00 for chargers and batteries, looking to keep the total around $100.00. I've looked at Surefires (owned a couple in the past as well as a few ARCs long ago) and pretty much ruled them out. I do want to have the adjustable output. droopy

    Another Recomendation Thread

I am an Paramedic for my county EMS. Light will be for EDC and work (got big backups available on the ambulance if needed). Got my choices down to a couple of lights. Nitecore D-10(GDP) or Lumapower Connexion. Leaning towards the Nitecore as I like the UI options. Also need lots of help in the...

    New LS and EDC Method

Well I finally got my ARC's, an LS-1 and an AA. Great lights and I am enjoying both. Carry at first was a slight problem, as dropping them in a pocket was annoying and a little uncomfortable. I also really didn't want them dinged from change, keys, etc. My solution was to take the clip from...

    MN03 and E1E

For now it seems like the battery spacer is the best bet. Droopy

    MN03 and E1E

Dan Thanks for the offer. My MN01 is good for now, but I read on a differant thread that it will blow with 2 123's. I just wanted to know if there is a single incandesant bulb that will work with both combnations, ie with or without the battery extender. Droopy

    MN03 and E1E

Will the MN03 work with only one 123 battery? I ask because I have the DSpeck battery extender on order and would prefer to have just one type of bulb. I don't want to worry about changing the bulb when I am going to use 2x123's or blowing the bulb because I forgot to change it. Would the MN03...
