Relay harness required for H9 upgrade?

My bad on the link. I simply tried to get images of the item, as advertised by the company I ordered from. Here's their actual website: www.kplayground.ca However, these lights aren't listed on the site. You have to message them, and ask for the lights. Once they know your ZIP code, they'll...

Relay harness required for H9 upgrade?

I wanted OE projectors, and read up on the various groups importing them from foreign markets. I like the look of the projectors vs reflector housings, and the reviews showed that they did have good output, and pattern.

I'll definitely make sure the lights are properly aimed! Thanks for the link. Will probably pay to have the aiming done.

Relay harness required for H9 upgrade?

Thank you very much Virgil! It's my understanding that they are marked Honda on the lense, and Stanley on other areas. I'm glad to know I won't need relays to run the H9s. If there's any question, I'd definitely retain my stock assemblies, and get HIR2s for the low beams.

A search for UAE Civic projectors will net you more information, as well.

Relay harness required for H9 upgrade?

https://www.pinterest.com/pin/501236633499267539/ This is the company I ordered through, based in Canada. I heard of these through the Civic forums. A few different groups were importing them, some from Dubai, and some from Germany. They are halogen projectors, used in most LHD markets...

Relay harness required for H9 upgrade?

I've ordered OE projector lights. These use H11 for the low beams, like the 2014+ Civic coupes. I did order HIR1s for the highs, and plan to trim the tabs on those and the H9s.

Relay harness required for H9 upgrade?

Hello all! I have a 2014 Honda Civic Si, and have ordered Philips H9 bulbs to upgrade my low beam lighting. I was told on a Civic forum that I should also install relay harnesses, to keep things from melting. Basically that the factory harnesses were thin, and not up to the task. What...

    GE HIR

I'm not sure how the GE's stack up, but can tell you that yes, the HIRs will look like standard bulbs physically. The translucent/iridescent coating was common on HIR bulbs, however many newer ones no longer use it.

Better headlight bulbs for 2010 Subaru Forester?

Was kind of surprised by the skepticism of Home Depot, but understand they're not known for auto lighting. I also respect purchasing through Amazon, as I have ordered many things there. I liked the price, and the fact that they're a national seller, with local stores. I noticed that the...

Better headlight bulbs for 2010 Subaru Forester?

Ordered these last night, great pricing and either free pickup at store, or free shipping (if order over $45): http://m.homedepot.com/p/Philips-HIR1-9011-Headlight-Bulb-1-Pack-9011B1/203654601?cm_mmc=Shopping%7cTHD%7cG%7c0%7cG-BASE-PLA-D25T-Tools%7c&gclid=COTSuoLXscoCFQuLaQodvaoO4A&gclsrc=aw.ds...

Better headlight bulbs for 2010 Subaru Forester?

Curve ball here... If making the jump to an H9 bulb, what are the top recommendations? I understand that "high output" H9s aren't necessary, since even the basic bulb gives higher output and less life, than a basic H11.

Better headlight bulbs for 2010 Subaru Forester?

Sorry to revive this... Mr. S, I'm looking to purchase a 2009 Forester that uses the same bulbs, and was considering the Osram NightBreaker (or somesuch). I recall you recommending the NB in H11, in the past. Has this changed? For the 9005 highbeams, I plan to get Philips HIR1s. I...
