Recommend me a single AA flashlight

Sofirn SP10 Pro is one of the most advanced AA lights. Well known and reliable.

i love the dark!!!!! anyone else?

Love dark and dim flashlight occasionally. SP10 Pro is just right but I have dimmer moonlights if I want. Sad thing is that light pollution is worse than acceptable around. Sidewalk lights shine sideways (what a misunderstood mission), straight into my window.

What did you use your flashlight for today?

Sleeping on the floor no wall switches are at my reach. I go to sleep with flashlight. Kidney problems, flashlight often used in the night to avoid falling on my face.

We need to talk about Olight

Proper hate can only come from love. Many haters only hate Olight because they love it or at least used to love it. They grew up into modern flashlights together with Olight. And they turned to different ways. Like divorced married couples. One progressed one way, other the other way. Flashlight...

    [Review] - Fenix E28R - SST40, 1500 Lumen, TypeC, 18650 - by Lock

Thank you very much, awesome review, I especially loved your beamshot GIF-s. Please let me ask one thing. The product brochure states that the battery power indicators only work with the original Fenix battery. Is it not working at all with other battery or just they can't warrant the thresholds...

Test/review of Xtar PB2 Charger & power bank

Re: Xtar PB2 Charger & power bank Thank you so much for this exhausting review! This charger was my candidate to buy next but here I learned the way I'd use is not appropriate for this device as charger. I use 18650 flashlights and always carry spare battery. I thought this could serve as...

    Dropped my Olight X7R

If the light functions well, consider this dent as first step of personalizing your light. Don't misunderstand me, not joking. Almost every valuable belongings get their scratches and dents sooner or later. It disturbed me much for decades. Now I see people showing the dents of their expensive...

    Olight R18 Pro

See specs at 6:44. Another step back light :-( First mode that won't step back is 320 lumens. Why they tend to not implement a mode that would not step back in a couple of minutes? In this case 600 lm seems to be that potential mode. My daily outdoor activity (commuting with unicycle) lasts 30...

Olight S15 (XM-L2, 1xAA/2xAA/3xAA) Review: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS, VIDEO + more!

Hi Selfbuilt, Hi forum, four years since this review was written, we all had many other, great flashlights since. Still, S15 is one of my favorites, didn't lose any of it's definite values such as simplicity, versatility in feed and rationality of build. What I especially love is tha part mostly...

    1xAAA with Dim Low Mode?

Hi, I'm using low light flashlights a lot. My favorites are Olight S2 and S15, S2 gives by far the lowest light firefly/moonlight mode. As of AAA, the already mentioned Olight i3S has copper versions (raw and pvd), those have different optics and mode order than the standard aluminum ones. I...

    Olight Smini

Yes, at last I got what I expected and more. After several ucsuccessful tries with my existing Li-ion batteries I got an IMR that does not shut down after seconds of use, nor does it step down to medium. Now it is perfect, thank you Olight. Utherwise if it is used as an EDC for real occasional...

    We need an aluminum S-Mini

Hi Forum, I think this light is really only designed for the enthusiasts, so it is fairly probable that there will be no standard product out of it. I got nine Olights so far, so I'm much into this brand, but this light especially would have made headaches if I were not. I think 550 lumens...
