    Jetbeam's Service is ridiculous!

actually not, since the clearance is so little and the ring operation to one side is easy. when i just loosened the threads a little bit, it was super smooth. when it was still working. problem is, when you loosen it too much, wires get ripped off and thats it. So, pls consider that the light...

Need your help for best option

Looks like around 17mm. Just have a look on fasttech.com and get a nice xp-g or xm-l u2 and a driver with the current you like (search for v10) and pop it in ;-)

Do I Want To Go Li-Ion???

If you go for li-ion, go for 18650. Imho the 14500 lacks capacity. I don't like to put 3 or 4 batteries into a light, especially not in darkness. And you don't get too much light out of a 1AA or 2AA Light. But it also depends on your needs. In a low-light environment, you don't need 1000 lumens...

    Looking for a driver, 4S LiIon + 7 XP-G in Series

Hi, i have a 40mm board with 7 xp-gs wired in series. it can be powered up to 1500mA and a dimming function would be great (3 modes pwm e.g.). i would like to power it with 3-4 18650's. (3S: 10.8V-12.6V or 4S: 14.4V-16.8V) 4 18650s would be fine. Vf is at around 18V. Space for the driver is not...

Possible Removal of Medium> Low> Strobe> SOS Modes, Only High From XM-L T6 Chip?

Re: Possible Removal of Medium> Low> Strobe> SOS Modes, Only High From XM-L T6 Chip? You have to get access to the driver, remove the battery and look down the tube, there you can see a round pcb. you have to change the driver. there are a lot of different drivers available and on some...

    Android phone Battery 100% charge = 4388mV

Exactly, without knowing the Chemistry of the Cell, the voltage doesn't say that much. 4,35 can be perfectly fine or massively overcharged....

    ultrafire c 8 really 1000 lumens?

I also like these c8 xm-l's very much, they have a good output for low money. it's not a high-quality flashlight like any surefire, but it is very bright and i doesn't matter if you drop it. i would go for a 3 amp pwm driver instead of the 7135 drivers.

Hmm they still don't offer a Quark Turbo 18650... :( I'm not going to get one until then.

    Disappointed :(

Do you have any more batteries to test? Is the AW 18650 fully charged? Which brand cr123s?
