Preflash with foursevens flashlights
I have a QTAA that has preflash. But I've had it a few years, don't remember which generation LED is in it. But a Turbo-X and a neutral-white QT2L-X I bought later have no pre-flash. I just ordered a new Maelstrom MM-X and I'm keeping my fingers crossed... -- Frank- FrankW438

My original Stinger did not have the orange o-ring in the reflector, and the hole for the bulb was to small for the LED in the Malkoff drop in. Thankfully, the Stinger I got from my buddy did have this and is compatible. Kind of makes it hard to come up with a one-size-fits-all solution.- FrankW438

Well, not too long after I posted that and emailed him, I got a phone call from Gene Malkoff. After a few minutes, Gene had me up and running. I ordered a Malkoff MDSTG for my old Stinger, and it arrived yesterday. I pulled my old Stinger off the shelf, and it looks like the power supply, charger sleeve, and probably the battery stick as well are fried. Power supply is putting out 19.5v instead of 12-13 volt. This looks like it could be my next best duty flashlight. Does anyone know if it will fit the SF V70 holster? I haven't seen any specs on the diameter of the body, only the head. Does anyone know for sure the body diameter, other than the speculation I've read here and there? -- Frank- FrankW438

Malkoff M31 on my AR-15
Your E1B/VME/Z68 is exactly what I have for my EDC! Love that combination, except I went with the M31 instead of the "W". That light mount is great! Currently I am using a G2/M60F on my rifle. I may need to look into your idea a little further. Great Pics! -- Frank- FrankW438

You have more patience than I have! Thanks for doing this for us. To summarize, 40 to 45 minutes of regulated output, and then a loooong gradual drop-off? Which brand primary did you use? I just received my M31 yesterday. Hoping to do some of my own "testing" tonight with a local CPFer. Thanks... -
