    EDC'ing five different lights -- well-prepared or simply insane?

    I typically carry a Fenix E01 on my keychain, a Surefire E1B, a Fenix LD10, and a Sunwayman V20C. I carry spare batteries as well - 6xAAA, 4xAA, and 4xcr123. If I wear a coat or a jacket I'll have another light in one of the pockets depending on what I feel like taking. My jacket has a 4sevens...

    Somehow I am always able to re-purpose old flashlights when I obtain newer ones... I blame my greedy drawers that require their own lights...

    Yep. Lost power for twelve days. Two Fenix E01s ran nearly constantly (only off for battery swaps) as did the Sunwayman M40A.

    I had my reservations about side switches, but after buying and using the Klarus ST20 I've actually become fairly fond of the concept. Seeing as how the Fenix LD10 is my EDC, I am definitely going to try out the LD12. The temptation of having low modes with 14500 is also too great.

    Tailstanding and diffusers ftw. I find a Fenix E01 tailstanding makes for a great bathroom/night light. You're lucky your house is so white everywhere!

    Surefire's lack of interest in neutral, warm, and High CRI LED's

    I'd be happy if Surefire just catered more to the non-CR123 crowd. To be completely honest warm/high cri is really low on my list of priorities when considering a light. High/low lumens, runtime, battery type and configuration, user interface, and carry options are all higher than tint in my book.

    The Xeno E03 bezel is 21.5mm wide and fits the Xeno Wand perfectly (you get a nice loud, cork-like pop when removing it). My Klarus ST20 is 22.0 to 22.5mm wide at the top of the bezel although goinggear lists the dimension as 25.3mm (the middle is fatter). I have not found a good wand for the...
