    LEO Duty Light

    I suggest the TA30, TA20 or TA21 for the needs you describe. Bright enough to search with, switch brightness with a selector ring and long enough to tuck under your arm if you decide to write violation tickets outside your PC.:welcome: Lots of useful info out there. There are so many choices.

    I'll second Uncle Mike's. Very comfortable to wear in the cruiser and standing at roadblocks.
