    Sold/Expired SOLD: Mac's Ti Tri-EDC

Oh well, I need Jeep parts! This is not a shelf queen, but I've taken good care of it. Pictures speak for themselves. Nichia 219, with hybrid memory + firefly program from Frank Lucero. $800 $700 SOLD As usual, first to post an "I'll take it" followed by prompt payment gets it.

Sliced finger open while retrieving item from pocket

Had this exact thing happen to me a few years ago. I had the idea that I would start carrying my tactical folder on my left side, since I was carrying my gun on my right (strong) side. It was a assisted opening kershaw shallot, came open twice in my pocket. First time I felt it open, second time...

Have any lights that seemed great at first, but became disappointing later?

Interesting, I loved the UI on my M1X and regret letting it go. Don't blame you there. I'm a huge HDS fan, but no clip is a deal breaker for me. I had a Foursevens X10 that I really loved, but over time the UI really got on my nerves. It would change modes much too easy. Would have rathered...

Honey, my dog ate the hammer

Thats really impressive. I am no machinist (far, far from it actually) but I enjoyed reading this thread. The pictures of the knurling and their related processes were great. I had no idea how that was actually done. So, I guess after 15 tons of pressure, maybe the locktite was a bit overkill...

What do you guys like for pens? ...

I really like the Pilot G2, I have a few I use in the office. I have been using the sharpie pens lately and I like those too, not great for writing tickets though, and I'd much rather a clicky. My only problem is that at work I carry my pens on my left sleeve, and the slots will not fit the...

Got a free light from work today - woohoo

Nothing better than a free light. I convinced my boss earlier this year to buy our entire department Nitcore EX11.2s!

What do you keep next to your bed?

Springfield XD45c, HDS 219, cell phone (HTC One X), tablet (Nexus 7).

Have you found a way to protect your flashlights' lenses?

+1 Same here, I will not wear a watch without a shaphire window. I have for years now, and I am constantly looking at my watch and thinking "crap, I actually scratched it" but then I wipe it off and it was just a smudge. Awesome stuff. I know I bought an HDS with a saphire window, but I've...

2 related issues: Do you add salt to food?// Whats up with airsoft?

I cook alot of my own food and consider myself a damn good cook, so if I have to season something after it has been plated, I've done something wrong. Airsoft = BB/pellet guns hurt too much. People that dont want to, are prevented from, or suck at paintball and think that paintball markers...

    The current grail

Not too many AA or 18650 lights out there that are the size of a 4D maglite. What about a 4D Mag, with Malkoff XM-L drop-in. You could most likely grab the light, the drop-in, and the batteries/charger for around half of what you are looking to spend.

    What's in your pockets?....But with a twist...

Resurrecting this one. Maybe we'll get a few more responses this time. Split between my coat and pants gear pockets I carry a Klein compact cable cutter, folding knife, folding spanner, window punch, extrication gloves, safety glasses, rubber gloves, 10 foot length of webbing, plus my radio in...

EDC - What's in Your Pocket(s)?? Third Edition

Taking this picture made me realize I should be looking for another wallet. And yes, I pretty much do "EDC" a laptop. I don't have to use it often, but my job requires me to have it available at all times.
