    Does anyone that repaired one of these lighters remember if when removing the flint tube is it right tight or left loose? I am trying to get it apart to repair leaky burner valve.:thinking:

    These leds are easy to replace with one from the shack. you will get a whiter tint. just push the led out with the dimple end of a sharpie. The led is a crimp assy. its cheap and easy.:twothumbs

    Oh God what have Maglite done?

    I have added the basic nite-ize switch (not the IQ) to my multi mode and it works well. It keeps you from doing the twist. :thumbsup:

    Just place a loop of paracord or something similar under the clip and give it a quick yank. This method didn't damage mine.

    If you would consider AAA batteries The preon 2 is a very stealthy usefull light IMHO. Not a bad price as well.
