But now I'm thinking it's best to exclude the T20C because it has a Strike Bezel and I live in the UK. Also I make occasional business trips to California and wouldn't want to raise too much interest at the Airport if I had it in my carry on baggage.
That Sunwayman V20C with it's pitched 6 YEARS of idle time on an 18650 and those features has really got my attention. Any owners know any gotchas about this light?
I'll take a look at the Sunwayman specs. The RRT-0 looks enticing but a few here, and I'm mindful of their opinions, suggest that it just doesn't seem to be a safe thing to draw that much power off an RCR123 for the turbo mode of the RRT-0.
I'm taking a look right now and liking what I see of...
I got a Nitecore D11 about a week before the updated D11.2 was announced, in fact I'm pretty sure that the new product was announced whilst the D11 was still in the post to me.
Anyway, I've found the light to be a great little backup light but it does tend to spend a long time at the bottom of...
I seem to recall there were some concerns about this on the earliest models. Perhaps if you post the model number you have then somebody may know.
If it's a recent model I would talk to Maha support.
Re: Nitecore D11.2 new revision
Found the link to the D11.2 manual now, yes it seems I have a D11 produced with a D11.2 tube and piston.
The controls change on the D11.2 somewhat.
To enter strobe and SOS modes you start with the light turned OFF now and either double tap or tap and hold...
Re: Nitecore D11.2 new revision
Ah.. looking at the pics again the D11.2 seems to be stamped 'Smart PD D11 SP R5' whilst mine is stamped 'Smart PD D11 R5'. I'll see what Nitecore say but it could be that I got one of the regular D11 modules they were using up with the new tooling (hence the new...
Re: Nitecore D11.2 new revision
Hmm, I see that there is also a Rapid Shortcut to highest and lowest modes that isn't, funnily enough, covered in the manual..

This explains some of the cosmetic differences on the one I got. They finally got to updating the site to show the new rev.
Differences seem to be black casing and the pre cut GTLS vial slot which looks to me to be...
I stumbled across a thread or two where folks had used Tritium markers in their D11 piston slots.
This explains the mystery slot and why it looks like a well milled, over sized screwdriver slot :p
Does anybody know where I can get hold of one for my D11? and what's the normal procedure for...
Well, I have had success with 4 of the 8 original Uniross Performance 2700s and they have a good 80% of the capacity.
I've also got 4 Eneloop 1500s that have been through the process.
Finally, to see if it is viable I have taken the 3 very poorly performing Uniross 2700s which were down to...
