    you could get a preon 2 body/clicky switch and an ITP 1 mode and use just the head. it won't be as smooth/matching but the output/mode should be close to the preon 2 output with one high mode only. Search "one mode ITP" on google.

    best light in my opinion is the preon p1. No knurlies to get stuff scuffed up in your pocket. Only problem is that its so darn smooth it might slip out when you sit down. If you tie the preon to your remote or something then it should be ok.

    Yup. It does tone down the light a bit if you're using the regular white caps. I have a transparent cap from one of my sisters chapstick tubes (special? idk?). I covered it in some textured diffuser film and it works great!

    itp A3/ olight i3 should work too...same exact head dia/design! I can swap the olight head to my preon head if i want more "grip"

    thanks for the kind words! I wish I could take credit for the design but JD actually did the entire design :). I only wear jeans so I am lacking in pocket space - I hate carrying stuff in my back pockets too.

    I have a couple green/blue glow sticks. Those suckers are extremely noticeable at night, especially when its dark around you. If its bright - you're probably safer without flares/markers since its less distracting to the drivers.

    I got a custom holster made for a preon p1 (my edc light:twothumbs). I have a preon p0 on my keychain so I didn't want to attach the p1 to it too - if I lose my keys how am I gonna find it in the dark?! ;). The preon 0 is sort of my spare battery tube for the P1/backup light if it fails too...
