My Cyclops "15 million candlepower" light died?

I never got around to checking it in my car because I couldn't find the adapter, but I decided to let it charge for the last 4 days. I tried it yesterday and it didn't work. I tried it today and it actually turned on!

At what point does/would price differential overcome your brand loyality?

I think it depends on too many variables to quantify. Brand loyalty only makes sense if you have a logical reason for it.

Duct tape silences flashlight battery rattle!

One of the first things I did when I got my maglite 6D, (which I love,) is to put a ring of duct tape around the batteries. Now the battery doesn't go "clunk" every time I change its orientation! It feels a lot better!

Noob thinking of modding a Maglite 6D with a Malkoff

I'm a noob, but I hear a lot of people like to put Malkoffs into their 6Ds. I've read several threads here about it. It seems malkoff has a P4 (240 lumens) and a P7 (700 lumens). I assume the P7 would probably have better throw. The website claims that the P7 wouldn't work well with alkalines...
