I sent Shado (Todd) a message about a Lunasol 27 that I am thinking of selling since I saw a thread where he just missed one. He said you were looking and I should check with you first. Figured I'd check if you were still looking.

    Frankenstein Creation.

the clip is a good idea. but it looks like you just saw the first clip that came along and said lets put one of those on one of the best flashlights made. the trailer hitch on the ferrari was a good one. but even ferraris have tow hooks, they are just designed and integrated. maybe something...

are the old coarse thread Ti raw parts interchangable with the other models, NS ans Al? I know the new ones with the finer threads aren't.

What's the best way to attach a carry handle on to a Maxpedition M5 pouch?

I'd make a web handle like on my larger packs or on the mini BOB and sew it on. But I like to try modifications and have an industrial sewing machine

    Attaching two Altoids tins together

I think he should spot weld them and be done with it but they won't be coming apart again.

    Benchmade or Spyderco Auto

Look at the practicals that will effect what YOU need. blade steel, lock strength, blade shape, serrated or not. I prefer the presidio but I like the lock and the blade style. thinking about making M4 and talonite blades for it though  if I can find some M4 material and good heat treat...

    Noob question... 440 grades?

simple rule of thumb in a steel series increase in letter or number increases quality of the steel 440c will take better properties than 440a if properly heat treated, M4 will have some advantages over M2 etc.

    Raw AL keychain question

same powder base, I just prefer an epoxy base to the premix types. by 22 hours they are pretty dim, but unless you're somewhere without windows for that long most places south of alaska don't have nights that long any way :grin2:

    Raw AL keychain question

I would suggest a solvent for removing whatever is left in the trit slots rather than drilling much cleaner, you just need the right solvent. bix airplane paine stripper will take out just about any adhesive just use a little and be careful. let me know (PM) when you are going to fill them...

    Raw AL keychain question

kevlar has a very high tensile strength so you cant break it and when woven it absorbs impact like the multi layer vest applications. it can still be abraded or cut with scissors or an ordinary knife.

    raw ti switching?

still doesn't always do low, guess it needs a bit more tinkering. on the right track though.:candle:

    raw ti switching?

ah, that seems to have helped. comes on low then kicks up to high. much better thanks! still wonder how much the new R2 modules are . probably won't upgrade though. just get a 5 trit with the lanyard holes and newer internals someday when I'm rich :twothumbs. these are sweet!
