    LOL isn't that amazing ?! My L10 is the first sub lumen light that I've owned. Before, I couldn't imagine the usefulness of such a low setting. But, after my eyes are darkness adapted, 3 lumens seems very bright compared to .09 lumens.

    Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I will look further into them. This will be for use as a small back-up light always carried, and for patient exams (including pupil response, etc).
