Wall-charger rechargeable flashlights for work (industrial use)

Non-conductive would be neat, but is not a requirement. The usual choice here is your typical LED Lenser, which in my experience tend to break prematurely.

Wall-charger rechargeable flashlights for work (industrial use)

I've gotten carte blanche to buy whatever lights I want for work. Which ones are good? Surefire no longer seems to make any "charging station" lights. I recall they came out with some "duty type" lights that had a charging ring, but they seem to be long gone. I don't want to buy your typical...

Feedback/impressions on the PhD-M6 custom battery pack

Wasn't really that common back then either, but M6 size constraints meant that triple 18650 was not possible. I'm still enjoying my PhD-M6, hopefully the battery type will not obsolete it eventually.

    Surefire M6 Guardian - 18650 adapters?

Maybe things have changed in the past few years but when I bought my M6 and I was setting it up there were so many options for battery carriers you could get lost in them. I'm sure if you throw up a WTB someone can offer you one of the old 18650 carriers, I'm sure someone has a spare. I'm...

    SUREFIRE EDCL-2T

Yes, it wouldn't be an EDCL variant, it would just be the M600 DF with a two-stage momentary and the whole Scout Light mounting system removed from the design in favor of a plain old tube (with, of course, a two-way pocket clip). The M600 DF has a design that is slimmer and better looking than...

    McGizmo - 2018

    I can only concur.

    SUREFIRE EDCL-2T

I believe that with the advent of the M600 DF it is inevitable, and only a matter of time. In the mean time this fantastic light will serve me well. Surefire's relentless catalog teasing shows that they are sometimes glacially slow even with the obvious releases, so I'm not going to hold my...

    Incan challenge week 2018

Did someone say incandescent week??? Although, I have to admit, the only one I actually carry anywhere is the one A2 that I have an LX2 clip for.. A2s are life. LF bulbs tend to not be frosted and I prefer this as it provides better focus and more throw, at the cost of a slightly 'uglier'...

    Best UV flashlight

Nailbender's P60 module will work fine with a cheap P60 host of your choice.

    SUREFIRE EDCL-2T

If Surefires were filled with potting they would be heavier than they are, the feel of them alone makes it kinda obvious they aren't. In other news, I caved and bought one of these and it is predictably amazing. I suppose I will just buy another one when they bring out the inevitable 18650 variant.

    SUREFIRE EDCL-2T

I want one too, but the release of the M600 DF has made me realize that a dual fuel version would be much more desirable, and that surely one must be right around the corner..

    Best UV flashlight

I am very happy with my Nailbender Nichia 365nm UV module, works well. The Nichia UV LEDs seem to be quite limited in supply, so they are not always available.

Feeler ---- AlanB softstart incan regulator

Not to step on y'alls toes but you know JimmyM's thread is still active, right? http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?341438-SALE-JM-PhD-D1-PWM-Hotwire-Regulator-BATCH-2 But I am not sure if the design is still being sold.

The Official Malkoff Junkie thread - Part 2

Finally moved into the next generation of Malkoffs with the arrival of an E2 Super Throw! First remarks, those extra few millimeters shaved off compared to the VME head really count. It is noticeably more compact. Secondly, it's way lighter than a VME head. I'm going to go ahead and guess...

Moore's Law of flashlight tech? (headlamp example included)

The curve has decreased, but that's because Moore's law in general has fallen off. The chip manufacturers are at this point struggling with shrinking the technology further.
