Titaner Ti pen mini-review with photos

They easily take standard Parker style ballpoint refills incl. gel and all brands of Parker style refills. I use Schmidt Super Bowl gel and Easy Folw 9000 in mine. You need 3 little things: 1. A thin plastic tube on the refill tip. 2. Ballpoint pen spring. 3. Spacer behind the ballpoint refill

    Help the newbie

Don, For a long time I used Chris Reeve's Fluorinated Grease. It felt very similar to the 50/50 Krytox blend. Several years ago I bought Christo-Lube MCG 111 for my wife who is into technical diving. Got it from Tech Dive Limited (http://www.tdl.divebiz.net/). At that time I did not think of it...

    Help the newbie

Regarding Krytox. An excellent Krytox blend has been available for years in a very handy little syringe, namely Chris Reeve`s Fluorinated Grease. Recently they switched brand to Christo-Lube, but this is basically the same product.

    Lanyard for my knife

Better than a lighter is a small butane torch, when working with the ends of paracord and other synthetic braids. I use the Blazer from http://www.smallparts.com/. Excellent product @ $26 A little larger knife, as a great companion to the Dragonfly, could be a Delica or Endura or my favorite...

Holster/Sheath/Pouch for Haiku and LS20 - NOT for hanging on my belt!

The TAD cordura nylon pouch is ideal for storage. Economical, light, extremely durable and washable. Can be attached to the belt or a bag. Equally useful for extra batteries, a Sebenza or other knife.

    Stonewashed McGizmo

Stonewashed titanium is an excellent finish that holds extremely well, and just gets more beautiful when used. I have many knives to prove that. The finish hides small scratches and nicks. Also very easy to repeat if needed. Nice variants to the finish can be achieved if applied on top of...

DIY paracord lanyard for Spy 007

The abrasion resistance of Kevlar is quite poor so the material is not ideal for lanyard loops. Spectra and Dyneema are a little better but far from ideal. High tenacity Polyester has signifficantly better abrasion resistance and is probably the best option available at present for the purpose...
