    3d mag where to start

Malkoff Devices makes a "3-6D Cell Maglite Drop-In LED Conversion" that is a nice upgrade. I have one of them. You have to cut the rear of the reflector. Malkoff's site says, "The light must have a "D" as the first character of the Serial Number for a proper fit. If your light is an older...

Old Tensor desk lamp with GE 93 bulb

There are a lot of automotive 1156 LED replacement lamps that you could use if you used a bridge rectifier to convert the AC to DC or you could just rewire it with an AC adapter that has the required VDC and current.

The Official Malkoff Junkie thread - Part 2

I received my Malkoff E2/Scout 2-3 CR123 Head today. It's a little smaller than my VME Malkoff Valiant Concepts Head. It has a nice hotspot and good spill. It seems a little warmer than my M61 and has no pronounced tint. On a Surefire E2D: On a Vital Gear FB1:

    XM-L2 Malkoff M60 Mod

    I had an early Malkoff Devices M60 (XR-E, Q5) that I modified with an XM-L2 (U2, 1C) and a multi-mode 8xAMC7135 driver (2.8A). I used a McGizmo McR-20J reflector after reading this thread: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?91615-quot-McR-xx-quot-Reflectors I like the...

2D maglite with ROP question: 6aa>>2D converter?

I may be wrong but from glancing at this thread, it seems that mdocod's Odd Mods Adapters are still available. And according to this thread, Fivemega still has 3AA to 1D adapters available. Sometimes they come up for sale on cpfmarketplace.com. I would follow Kestrel's advice if I were...

Best source for teflon wire in multiple colors?

There are CAT 5 and 5e Ethernet cables that have PTFE insulation. They are usually 24-26 AWS gauge. I think CAT 6 is a slightly larger gauge.
