    Nitecore TM15 @ 2450 lm

One good way to clean the lens is to use lens cleaning clothe and fluid designed for cleaning camera lens. But be careful not to touch the reflector as it will be very difficult or impossible to clean completely.

Nitecore EA4 Pioneer review (cool white)

Re: NITECORE EA4 PIONEER (cool white) review The TM11 unlocks by three quick clicks; the TM15 unlocks like the EA4 from what I've read in CPF and using my own TM15. I suspect the new way was intended to be an improvement, to make unlocking easier for people who can't click three times fast...

    **NEW** Nitecore EA4 Pioneer (4*AA, 860lm)

Just my opinion, but I think most non-flashaholics will want a simple clicky--single mode, 3-mode at most. And this would be even more true for an older person. Sure there will be exceptions, some people just like gadgets and would have no problem with this UI, but that's not most people.

Nitecore TM11 V3 has to be screwed up "VERY" tight for light to work. Anyone else?

Re: Nitecore TM11 V3 has to be screwed up "VERY" tight for light to work. Anyone else I just received a TM15 with the 2600 Nitecore batteries and I have to snug it up tight, about as tight as I'm will to go without feeling like I would damage the electronics in the driver or the batteries. I...

    Nitecore TM15 @ 2450 lm

For times when you don't want to bother with locking it out when holstered, putting the light into the holster with the switch facing one of the holster corners will give it the free space to not get pressed accidentally.

    Nitecore TM15 and TM20

I received my neutral TM15 a few days ago. Like it a lot, overall the best light I have. It has one flaw though, it makes the rest of my lights look dim LOL, except for my Sam Club 35W HID. And even the HID hardly looks any brighter, just has a slightly brighter hot spot.

    Intermittent Open Circuit Problem

I have a custom driver (hi/med/low) in a P60 droppin (from a reputable builder on this forum) running XPG LED in a L2 body. Light runs on a single 18650 cell. Dropin is not potted, maybe I'll go with this option the next time to make it more shock resistant. Light has under an hour of total...

New to flashlights, looking for some advice

It depends on the driver circuit, total wattage drain rate is what determines on time. Amps X Volt = Watts So 2 AAs putting out less voltage per battery (than the single-cell configuration), but higher total voltage (2 cells in series), will still be putting out higher wattage and increased...

New to flashlights, looking for some advice

For the OP, I know you've probably already bought what you need. I just want to say though the one you listed at Meritline.com is very good, best $10 I've ever spent on lights. Decent build quality and bright. I bought 1 and then a few more for gifts after I saw how good it is. A...

Why are warm LEDs preferred by most on this forum?

As was pointed out by some already, most people probably still prefer neutral or cool LEDs. I'm one of those who do prefer warm LEDs though, but still like to have neutrals around for some things. I just like the warm color better, and I see better with warm light. The cooler lights just seem...
