    your best AA light?

Sure, but I wasn't shining the light at the meter to compare brightness. For the same reason that I didn't do a visual comparison of the light beams - because both would be worthless! :)

    your best AA light?

Smooth reflector, and yes, the RRT-0 was dimmer (at least my example was). It was also dimmer than my LD10 R4 (which apparently puts out about 170+ lumens OTF). I wasn't measuring lumens, I was comparing brightness. I don't need a light sphere to compare brightness. The LD20 R5 puts out 180...

    your best AA light?

It's not! The LD20 R5 is brighter. And this is not estimating by eye, I measured it with a light meter. The RRT-0 with AA battery did not come close to 180 ANSI lumens. Now, I did the measurement with NiMH batteries, because that is the way I intend to use my lights. It's possible that the RRT-0...

    your best AA light?

But of course! :p While we're at it, another favourite single AA light is the JETBeam BK135A. I like that one quite a bit!

    your best AA light?

I think you're thinking of the IFD2, Rob. (It's not often I get the chance to correct you, so I took it :D).

Do you really use 0.2 lumen?

It's only a unit of measurement, not a commandment (Thou shalt not use sub-lumen power outputs on your flashlight! ;)). If 0.2 lumens sounds too low, you can always call it 2 decilumens, 20 centilumens or 200 millilumens. Whatever makes you happy. :D

Cerakote Check In! All brands with coating!

It's the same reason why a car mechanic will usually drive the crappiest car - a photographer will get busy with work, and the last thing he/she will want to do in their off-hours is take more photos! There ya go! Sound familiar? :)

Forward clickie vs reverse clickie (or the opposite one)

The LED Lenser MT7 will do this, as well as others from that line (the M14 does it). So it can be done, and has been done.. Why other manufacturers haven't done it, I have no idea.

Cerakote Check In! All brands with coating!

Most people have this image of photographers that is somewhere between Austin Powers and James Bond. They have no idea the amount of schmoozing and ego smoothing that goes into pulling a successful shoot off... and how much palm-greasing and how many "favours" it takes to have everyone help out...

What is your most anticipated light?

What Rob said, except I've been waiting a little longer. A couple of days longer! :D

    Photos of your lights

I only photographed a couple so far. One photo was for size comparison purposes... Fenix LD20, LED Lenser MT7 (my favourite Lenser) and LED Lenser M14: ... and the other lot was of a light I was selling... JETBeam TC-R2 Limited Edition (Titanium Collection), 348 of 500: EDIT: Added...

    Only one flashlight?

    Two? That's just being greedy! ;) :D

    Only one flashlight?

Surefire E2L AA. Cheap and readily available batteries, great runtime, simple and easy to use, tough. Since natural disasters can and do happen (as we've seen just recently), if I could only keep one light, this would be the one!
