need a powerful UV LED flashlight. suggestions?

Size or battery type isn't an issue, I just need it to carry like a flashlight and be BRIGHT. I've found a number of options on this site and elsewhere, but am skeptical of quality as this will be my first UV flashlight and I really don't know what to look for  So I ask you CPF...

Why so much interest in hand-held flashlights relative to headlamps?

that's a good explanation. personally I find my headlamp get's more use than my (very nice and expensive) flashlights. with the possible exception of my little EDC light on my keyring.

lost my Petzl MYO headlamp, what should I replace it with?

I have no idea where it went, so I've decided it's time for a replacement. really the MYO was perfect for what I use it for just wondering if there's anything better.

    Innovage Outdoor crank-up flashlight

you can't hotlink to local files :nana: as to your question, you have to realize this is intended as an "emergency" deal so the battery is unlikely to matter much. it's probably cheap and low capacity, which again doesn't really matter given its intended use. if you really want to know, take...

    Fenix TK45 - A Layman's Perspective

and another thing about the two switches, are they both active when the light is turned off? in other words, can you change modes when the light is off, or is one button disabled until it's turned on? I would actually prefer it if mode switching was disabled until the light was turned on, but I...
